Cleopatra VII Philopator was the last active ruler of the Hellenistic Kingdom of Egypt. She is widely regarded as one of the most iconic figures in ancient history. Born around 69 BCE she came to power after a series
of conflicts among her
siblings and eventual assassination of her brother Ptolemy XIII.
